How did you use NCLEX Bootcamp to prepare for the NCLEX?
NCLEX Bootcamp played a huge role in helping me pass the NCLEX. What I liked most was how the rationales were clear, concise, and easy to understand. Whenever I answered questions incorrectly, I carefully reviewed the rationales and took notes on important concepts. The case studies were especially helpful because they mirrored the Next Generation NCLEX format and taught me how to think critically rather than simply memorize information.
I followed a structured study plan and focused on answering practice questions every day. The readiness assessments helped me identify my weak areas and showed me which topics needed more attention. I also appreciated how the questions were categorized because it allowed me to target specific subjects such as pharmacology, fundamentals, and medical-surgical nursing. As I consistently met the performance targets, my confidence gradually increased and I felt more prepared for exam day.
What did you struggle with most while you were studying for the NCLEX?
My biggest challenge was knowing where to start and figuring out how much preparation was enough. The NCLEX covers a wide range of nursing concepts, and at first it felt overwhelming. There were moments when I doubted whether I was studying the right topics or doing enough practice questions.
Time management was also difficult because I was balancing NCLEX preparation with work and personal responsibilities. Some days I felt mentally exhausted, but I kept reminding myself of my goal of becoming a USRN. Fundamentals and pharmacology were my weaker subjects, so I spent extra time reviewing those areas and answering related practice questions. NCLEX Bootcamp helped make studying more organized and less overwhelming because it provided a clear structure and helped me focus on what mattered most.
What is one piece of advice you would give to another student preparing to take the NCLEX?
Trust the process and believe in yourself. There will be days when you feel discouraged or think you are not scoring high enough, but consistency is more important than perfection. Focus on understanding the rationales rather than memorizing answers. Every question you get wrong is an opportunity to learn.
Don't overwhelm yourself by using too many resources. Choose one or two reliable study tools and stick with them. Practice questions daily, review your weak areas, and take time to understand the concepts behind the answers. On exam day, stay calm and take one question at a time. Whether your exam stops at 85 questions or goes beyond, keep giving your best effort because you're still in the game. Most importantly, pray, trust your preparation, and remember that passing nursing school was already a major achievement. The NCLEX is simply the final step. Stay confident, keep moving forward, and believe that you can become a successful USRN. You've worked hard for this, and your future patients will be fortunate to have you as their nurse. 💙
