How did you use NCLEX Bootcamp to prepare for the NCLEX?
NCLEX Bootcamp was the resource I used while preparing for my NCLEX. As a wife, mother of two, and working nursing graduate, finding time to study was not always easy. What I loved most about Bootcamp was how it helped me stay organized and focused throughout my preparation.
The personalized study schedule was a game changer! It gave me structure and helped me manage my study time around my busy life. I absolutely loved the crash course videos because they explained important concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand way. And the cheat sheets? Those were my favorite! They made reviewing and remembering important information so much easier.
I also spent time practicing questions and working through the Next Generation NCLEX case studies. The detailed rationales helped me understand why an answer was correct or incorrect, which strengthened my critical thinking and clinical judgment.
Bootcamp helped me build my confidence, and I am beyond grateful to say that I PASSED MY NCLEX ON MY FIRST ATTEMPT!
What did you struggle with most while you were studying for the NCLEX?
My biggest challenge while preparing for the NCLEX was finding a balance between motherhood, marriage, work, and studying. As a mother of two young children and a Patient Care Technician at AdventHealth, my days were already filled with responsibilities. But I knew that passing the NCLEX was a dream I had worked too hard to give up on.
I studied whenever and wherever I could. Sometimes it was during my breaks at work, sometimes after a long shift, and many times at home when my children were asleep. There were even moments when I studied while they were awake, trying to concentrate while still being present as their mother. It wasn't always easy, and honestly, there were days when I felt completely exhausted.
One of my biggest struggles was also the fear of failing. I constantly wondered whether I was studying enough or if I would be ready when exam day arrived. Coming from Zimbabwe and pursuing my nursing dream in America made this journey especially meaningful because I knew how much I had sacrificed to get here.
NCLEX Bootcamp helped me stay organized and make the most of the little pockets of time I had available. The personalized study schedule gave me direction, while the crash course videos, cheat sheets, and practice questions made studying more manageable.
Through this experience, I learned that you don't need perfect circumstances to accomplish your dreams. Sometimes you just have to make the most of the time you have, stay consistent, and refuse to give up.
Today, I am incredibly grateful that all those sacrifices paid off when I passed my NCLEX on my very first attempt!
What is one piece of advice you would give to another student preparing to take the NCLEX?
If there is one piece of advice I would give to anyone preparing for the NCLEX, it would be this: Believe in yourself, stay consistent, and make NCLEX Bootcamp your go-to study partner!
I cannot recommend Bootcamp enough! As a mother of two, a wife, and a Patient Care Technician, finding time to study was not always easy. I studied during my breaks at work, after long shifts, and at home, whether my children were sleeping or running around. Bootcamp helped me make the most of every opportunity I had to study.
Take advantage of everything Bootcamp has to offer! Create your personalized study schedule, watch the crash course videos, use those amazing cheat sheets, practice questions, and most importantly, read and understand the rationales. Don't just memorize answers; learn to think critically and apply your nursing knowledge.
There will be days when you feel overwhelmed or doubt yourself, but don't give up! Trust your preparation, give yourself grace, and remember why you started.
I passed my NCLEX on my very first attempt, and I am forever grateful to NCLEX Bootcamp for being such an incredible part of my preparation!
To every future nurse out there, your dream is within reach. Study hard, stay consistent, believe in yourself, and pray. Put in the work and trust God with the outcome.
