How did you use NCLEX Bootcamp to prepare for the NCLEX?
I used NCLEX Bootcamp as my main review tool, and honestly, it made my NCLEX preparation feel more fun and less stressful. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, I treated it like a daily challenge by answering practice questions every day and trying to improve little by little. What I enjoyed most was reading the rationales because they were clear, easy to understand, and sometimes felt like quick mini-lessons rather than boring explanations. NCLEX Bootcamp helped me spot my weak areas, so I knew exactly what to focus on instead of guessing what to study next. I liked tracking my progress and seeing my improvement, which really boosted my motivation and confidence. The questions felt very similar to the actual NCLEX, so I felt more comfortable with the exam style. Overall, NCLEX Bootcamp turned my review into a productive but enjoyable routine and helped me feel ready and confident on test day.
What did you struggle with most while you were studying for the NCLEX?
The biggest struggle I had while studying for the NCLEX was burnout. At first, I was very motivated and pushed myself to study for long hours every day, thinking that more time meant better results. Over time, this became exhausting both mentally and emotionally. I started feeling overwhelmed, unmotivated, and anxious, especially when my practice scores were not improving as fast as I expected. There were days when opening my review materials felt heavy, and I questioned if I was doing enough. I learned that burnout can affect focus, memory, and confidence, which are all important for the NCLEX. What helped me overcome this was learning to take breaks, setting realistic study goals, and reminding myself that rest is also part of the learning process. Once I balanced studying with self-care, I became more focused, motivated, and confident in my preparation.
What is one piece of advice you would give to another student preparing to take the NCLEX?
One piece of advice I would give to another student preparing for the NCLEX is to balance faith and study. Preparing for this exam can be very stressful, so it is important to do your part by studying consistently, understanding nursing concepts, and answering practice questions every day. Take time to read and understand rationales so you can improve your critical thinking and learn from your mistakes. At the same time, do not forget to strengthen your faith through prayer and trust in God’s plan. Faith helps calm your mind, reduces anxiety, and gives you peace when doubts start to appear. There will be days when studying feels overwhelming or when practice scores are low, but faith can remind you to keep going and not lose hope. Studying without faith can lead to burnout and fear, while faith without effort can lead to lack of preparation. When you balance both, you stay motivated, focused, and confident. This balance helps you face the NCLEX with a clear mind, a calm heart, and the belief that all your hard work will pay off.
