How did you use NCLEX Bootcamp to prepare for the NCLEX?

I used the NCLEX Bootcamp to prepare for my NCLEX exam after failing my first attempt. Initially, I studied for two months using other resources and felt extremely nervous during the exam. After my first failure, I took a two-week break and then tried using the same material again, but it wasn't helpful. A friend recommended the Bootcamp, so I tried the 3-day trial and immediately felt it was what I needed. It had the same style questions as the NCLEX, boosting my confidence. With only one month left before my second attempt, I purchased a 1-month package. The Bootcamp's case studies and standalone questions were especially beneficial. I found many questions on my second attempt were similar to those in Bootcamp. This resource truly changed my life, helping me fulfill my dream of becoming a Canadian RN. I highly recommend it to anyone preparing for the NCLEX.

What did you struggle with most while you were studying for the NCLEX?

While studying for the NCLEX, I struggled the most with my critical thinking skills and the fundamentals, particularly in the areas of child health and maternity. However, after using the NCLEX Bootcamp, my confidence in these areas significantly improved. Initially, I had doubts about my ability to handle these topics, but after a few weeks of using Bootcamp, I felt much more prepared and confident. The Bootcamp's question of the day feature was particularly helpful in reinforcing my understanding and boosting my confidence. Overall, I found that my struggles with these areas were alleviated through dedicated study with the Bootcamp materials, and I was able to approach my exam with a newfound sense of confidence and readiness.

What is one piece of advice you would give to another student preparing to take the NCLEX?

One piece of advice I would give to another student preparing to take the NCLEX is to prioritize understanding over memorization. While it's important to know key facts and information, the NCLEX is designed to test your ability to think critically and apply your knowledge in various scenarios. Focus on understanding the underlying principles and concepts behind the information you're studying, rather than just memorizing facts. Additionally, practice as many NCLEX-style questions as you can to familiarize yourself with the exam format and improve your critical thinking skills. Finally, believe in yourself and stay positive throughout your preparation journey. Trust in your abilities and stay confident in your knowledge and skills.
