How did you use NCLEX Bootcamp to prepare for the NCLEX?

I used NCLEX Bootcamp by focusing on its case studies, which were incredibly helpful in applying critical thinking to real-world scenarios, just like the NCLEX. I started by studying Saunders to build a strong foundation, then moved on to Bootcamp questions to test my knowledge and practice exam-style questions. This combination of Saunders for content review and Bootcamp for realistic practice made my preparation comprehensive and effective.

What did you struggle with most while you were studying for the NCLEX?

The biggest challenge I faced while studying for the NCLEX was retaining and memorizing the vast amount of content, especially medication names and their specific uses. I also struggled with managing anxiety during practice exams, as I wanted to ensure I fully understood the rationale behind each question. Over time, using strategies like active recall, practice questions, and rationales helped me improve my retention and confidence.

What is one piece of advice you would give to another student preparing to take the NCLEX?

My advice is to focus on studying and thoroughly understanding the rationales for every question. Redo all the questions until you achieve 100% on everything, ensuring you’ve mastered the concepts. Don’t skip any questions—complete every single one in Bootcamp. Additionally, take detailed notes as you go to reinforce your learning and have a personalized resource for review.
