Bootcamp's Step 1 Study Schedule will tell you exactly what to study day-by-day so you're prepared to pass Step 1.
Step 1 is one of the biggest challenges you'll face in your journey to becoming a doctor. The sheer volume of material leaves many students anxious and, in some cases, underprepared for the exam.
Some students have started to study lightly for Step 1, in an effort to place more emphasis on Step 2. However, taking Step 1 seriously will help you build a strong foundation and set you up for greater success on Step 2.
My name is Dr. Roviso, and I’m here to help you prepare for and absolutely crush Step 1. I understand the challenges that come with preparing for the USMLE Step 1 after going through it myself. I’ve put together this study schedule along with some of my best tips and tricks for preparing for the exam.
Together, we will focus on simplifying the complex, drowning out the noise, mastering the highest-yield concepts, and building up your confidence every day.
Remember, success will come from working hard and working efficiently, and I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Let’s do this!

Med School Bootcamp is an absolute game-changer for tackling complex subjects for exams and anatomy. The anatomy question banks are a total lifesaver, helping me nail down those intricate structures with ease. The variety of questions keeps me engaged, and the explanations are like having a personal tutor on demand. It's become one of my go-to study resources for acing those tough med school exams.
My friend first recommended Bootcamp as a third party resource to highlight the most high yield things for exams and boards. I was skeptical at first since I am already using other third party resources and wasn't sure if I needed yet another one. After getting Bootcamp I have almost entirely abandoned the other resources in favor of this one. The short and concise videos maximize my efficiency. The post-video quizzes allow me to reinforce my knowledge, and the practice board style questions show me how to apply my learning successfully. Bootcamp is a game changer in the field of med school third party resources and I have NO REGRETS.
I had previously been using boards and beyond until switching to Bootcamp. What I like about Bootcamp is 1. I actually enjoy watching it and it holds my attention better than prior used resources 2. It is up to date and realistic with what is on USMLE Step one compared to other outdated third party resources 3. C,hecking off my lessons makes me feel like I am actually accomplishing something 4. I really like how after each video there are quick questions to evaluate your understanding of the mater 5. I genuinely enjoy how Bootcamp has a high yield histology section as I feel like histology is often woven throughout videos so it is nice to have all the histology in one place. Overall, I have liked Bootcamp and sketchy the most out of all third party resources.
Using Bootcamp resources has been super transformative toward my growth as a student. I have been able to not only increase my M2 scores on exams but also retain high-yield topics on test day.
I absolutely love Bootcamp! It has been my saving grace as I learn through pre-clinical. The professors do an amazing job at walking through High Yield concepts and connecting dots along the way. The flow of the material is intuitive and they do a great job at emphasizing and explaining difficult concepts multiple times. My biggest struggle was applying content to boards-style questions, which greatly improved with their boards breakdown application videos.
Bootcamp has been an amazing resource for Step 1 prep. I switched over from bnb early on in my study prep and after a few weeks saw my practice exam scores jump up by 10%. It provides exactly what you need to know for the board exam and no extra fluff. If you are on a time crunch or the type of people who needs it told straight up without extra details/complications then please use Bootcamp.
After using other tested Step 1 resources, I heard from several other classmates about Bootcamp. I did the free trial and loved the short videos since I felt they were a lot easier to process than 30-45 min videos at a time. It also let me go through it at my own pace. Overall, I found the videos to be incredibly engaging! I also loved the questions at the end of each video to help me solidify the info. Although a newer resource, I found it worked better for me than any other step one resource, and was a lot more reasonable cost-wise! Highly recommend!
I originally discovered Bootcamp during my first year of medical school while taking anatomy. Anatomy Bootcamp was such a great resource and really helped me pass. When I found out that Bootcamp also offered Step prep, I knew I had to check out Medical School Bootcamp.
One of the issues with Step 1 preparation is resource overload. Medical School Bootcamp is great because it has all the information I need to pass Step 1 in one location. I don’t have to worry about piecing together other resources to make a study plan since everything I need can be found through Bootcamp. Their 9-week course outline really helps me stay on top of my studying and eliminates the guess work of whether or not I am studying enough. While there are other similar 3rd party resources, Bootcamp is by far the most engaging and entertaining to watch. The illustrations and instructors are second to none! Thank you Bootcamp!
