I really enjoy Bootcamp. It has been a really fun way to study and the resources are excellent. I find myself going to Bootcamp before using other resources and I really understand the material.
I have seen a significant improvement in my preclinical grades after starting Bootcamp. I used multiple resources to study before getting Bootcamp but now I can get all the resource I need in one platform. I would highly recommend Bootcamp.
Med School Bootcamp is the best online tutoring/studying tool I have ever used. It has saved me on so many occasions, the resources are incredible. I absolutely recommend Bootcamp to any student, it’s incredible!
Bootcamp has been game-changer for how I approach studying for classes and boards. With them creating videos that are chunked and have notes to follow along, I feel like I get a better understanding of the material in a way that makes sense to me. I've enjoyed using Bootcamp and I really appreciate the quizzes/Bites after each section to further consolidate what I'm learning and finding my knowledge gaps. I also do like how there are different people/voices for videos on sections as this provides some change and it's been a great time using Bootcamp!
Bootcamp is simply put the most valuable resource that I have during medical school. For each class I take, its videos are precise and high yield, but don’t skimp on deeper understanding. The questions that follow after each video are amazing at locking in the knowledge, and fit in perfectly as study bank resources useful for both board and exam prep. I couldn’t imagine doing medical school without Bootcamp! Couldn’t recommend it more, and I’m looking forward to seeing all my topics turn green with completion as I make my way through my courses!
I discovered Bootcamp at the end of pre-clerkship and decided to do a 7 day trial to review Cardio since it had been over a year since I reviewed the system. I wish I found Bootcamp earlier because it has been an invaluable resource. I am currently in dedicated studyingfor Step 1 and I can't believe how much I never learned during the organ blocks. All the concepts are explained really well and most importantly concisely! I am advocating for this as a resource for all future MS2s at my program.
I love Bootcamp! It is honestly a lifesaver for me. I first used it for Anatomy, because of the color coordinated videos, plethora of practice questions, and diversity of practical/cadaver images. The change in my Anatomy score was so evident after my free trial, that I convinced my classmates to sign up for a group discount. I also use Bootcamp for organ system specific subjects, and plan to use it for my boards studying as well.
For me, Med School Bootcamp is a great supplemental resource. My school uses problem-based learning, so the bulk of learning is conducted via independent textbook reading. Personally, I find some concepts hard to understand from a written resource, thus I use Med School Bootcamp to explain concepts I am confused on. This made learning neuroanatomy much easier! Plus, I love the ability to test myself after each new topic to make sure I retained the information.
I love the shorter videos that focus on just "one slide" since it allows me to really compartmentalize the different topics and have all of the information in one place. I also kind of like that not all of the explanations/information are in the slides, which requires me to take notes. Taking notes helps me to focus and remember things easier. While I haven't taken STEP, Bootcamp has really helped with with my preclinical organ blocks so far. I also really like the review questions right after each video! While they aren't Board styled questions (those are done later), I feel that they are a good quick review to make sure you were actually paying attention to the video.
I switched from other third-party resources to Bootcamp just before starting my Step 1 study period, and I wish I had known about this from the start of my med school career. I have a very short attention span, and the bite-sized videos with key questions after really split everything up into digestible chunks that keep me engaged. The way that everything is on one slide is quite useful as well, since you don't have to worry about missing a key slide and needing to rewind the video, and you are better able to connect the high-yield concepts and then fill in the details after you understand the key connections and differences. It is also really easy to take note of other concepts you might not be as familiar with and then fill in the gaps with other resources like sketchy pharm. All in all, Bootcamp has really streamlined my studying and made me much more efficient as I prep for Step 1.
I really enjoy using Bootcamp as a supplement to my school lectures. I find the Bootcamp lectures to be more succinct and helps me filter out the important information that I will need to retain for STEP 1. I also really like the small quizzes throughout the lectures to help me retain material and ensure I am actively learning.
The Med School Bootcamp program has been an incredible source of information for me as I navigate my first year in medical school. Efficient and succinct with each lesson topic, I’ve been able to quickly learn the clinical pearls for diseases of various organ systems and supplement the material from my medical school. With an additional emphasis on high yield topics for Step 1 and board-style questions, this resource has helped me with early preparation for my upcoming board exams. Practice questions are incredibly beneficial for my learning and the board-style and lesson review questions help me in better identifying my pitfalls and topics that I need a better understanding of. Medical school has many moving parts, roles, and opportunities, and it was important for me to find a resource that allowed me to use my time wisely. Learning through Bootcamp has helped me learn in multiple ways at once, and it has provided me with the flexibility of having more time for other activities that I am passionate for!
Med School Bootcamp is an incredible resource! The videos cover high yield content and make everything easy to understand. The bites questions after each section are a great review tool, especially with the option to tag questions. I love the integration with Anki and will continue to use Bootcamp on a daily basis. I am excited that several sections of Bootcamp are being expanded to include more content!
I first learned of Med School Bootcamp through AnKing and it at first seemed like just another pricetag on a tool I'd never use. After dozens of wrong UWorld questions from a lack of content knowledge, I was getting worried and caved to buy a Bootcamp trial. It immediately made a difference, simplifying physiology concepts I never understood (despite B&B, which never really stuck).
I found Bootcamp halfway through my second year in med school. I would give just about anything to go back and tell myself about this incredible resource. Instead of slogging through hour-long lectures from my professors, trying to pick and choose the important pieces, Bootcamp packages the high-yield info into 5-15 minute long videos that are easy to digest, understandable and much more entertaining than lectures. 10/10 would recommend to anyone starting med school!
Bootcamp is my favorite resource to use to study for Step 1! Their mini quizzes after each video really help me retain high yield concepts and their tagging system is very useful to review my weak points. I especially enjoy their Question of the Day because it offers a quick, random test of my growing knowledge every morning like a little surprise.
I can't imagine tackling med school without Bootcamp! The way that it condenses each topic to a single high-yield page has been so helpful for my retention and time management. I also am so grateful for Bootcamp's huge practice question bank that allows me to assess what I learn. I highly recommend Bootcamp to all med students!
When my dedicated study period for STEP 1 came around, I had no idea where to start. Practice questions weren't cutting it for me, First-Aid seemed so daunting, and other online review videos were so long and boring. MSB provides concise review videos with checkpoint questions that set students up for success. MSB held my attention, gave me a good foundation, and told me what the highest yield points were. I'd recommend this resource to anyone.
Bootcamp has been a great addition to my set of external resources I use to learn concepts. It goes into the perfect amount of depth I need for my in house exams. It is my go-to resource for histology and anatomy, in addition to many other topics. Many of my classmates also use Bootcamp and have also really enjoyed it. It's also great knowing that if I have a question during a Bootcamp video, I can get it answered within a day. I'm very glad I purchased this resource!
Bootcamp is the best! Since it's highly focused on what students need to know for STEP 1, I can get my information all in one place. Using Bootcamp as a study resource gives me free time to do the things I love.
