Why Christian Recommends Less Content Review and More Practice Passages Before the MCAT

I prepared primarily in two stages. First, I used Khan Academy's MCAT section for content review; second, I used question banks through Bootcamp and JackWestin to practice. I really liked Bootcamp's setup. I thought the whole thing was very user friendly and that the dashboard was easy to navigate. Additionally, I liked how there were optional video explanations for each question to help me get a feel for how the MCAT asks its questions. As far as MCAT preparation goes, I could easily have gotten by using only Bootcamp's resources and likely attained the same score that I got. I was especially impressed with the CARS questions - I felt that these were very well written and were reflective of the types of questions and passages found on the real MCAT. I enjoyed JackWestin passages as well, but some of their questions took large leaps in logic that I [and others on Reddit] didn't always agree with.

All-in-all, I would rank Bootcamp as being the most important MCAT resource [along with Khan Academy].

Looking back, the only thing I would have done differently for my MCAT preparation would have been to devote less time to content review and more time to practice questions/passages with Bootcamp.
