Bootcamp was my primary study resource for Step 1, and it was absolutely worth it! The content creators are amazing teachers. They present difficult concepts in a way that is easy to understand while clearly emphasizing what is truly high yield. I especially appreciated that they consistently pointed out how concepts are likely to be tested on the exam.
What especially sets Bootcamp apart, in my opinion, is the Qbank. The concepts tested closely reflected those I encountered on the real exam, and compared to other Qbanks I used, Bootcamp's explanations were more educational and helped me build a stronger understanding of the underlying concepts. One of my favorite features is Bootcamp AI, which provides quick, accurate answers to follow-up questions while reviewing explanations, making it easy to fill in knowledge gaps without interrupting my study session. I also loved the ability to tag questions as Mastered, Learning, or Reviewing, which gave me a much more meaningful way to track my progress than simply looking at correct versus incorrect answers.
Overall, Bootcamp prepared me extremely well for Step 1 and gave me everything I needed in one place. I passed on my first attempt, and I am incredibly grateful to the Bootcamp team. I would absolutely recommend Bootcamp as a one-stop shop for medical students throughout their first and second years.
Med School Bootcamp was my only online resource during my Step 1 study prep, alongside the First Aid book (they complement each other very well). In my opinion, the Qbank turned out to be very similar to the actual exam, and the short videos with recall questions right after are perfect for key concepts memorization. It's perfect not only for a high-yield review of tough subjects if you're in a time crunch but also for a thorough dissection of all Step 1 material if you have more time. My favorite parts were the study schedule creator because it gave me a clear and realistic timeline and the Bootcamp AI tool - it felt like studying with a tutor. It was all I needed and it made me feel confident in a positive result! Definitely worth the investment.
As a very non-traditional student who worked in the pharmaceutical industry, then as a flight attendant in Dubai, before finally finding my way to medicine in my late twenties, finding the right resources was essential to my preparation. Bootcamp has been an absolute game-changer for me and was, without a doubt, the most all-inclusive prep material I have used for the USMLE Step 1. It really helped me pass, and I couldn't be more grateful.
What stood out most was the sheer depth of both the questions and the slides. Every topic was broken down in a way that made complex concepts feel manageable and intuitive. I also loved being able to track my progress directly on the app in a visual and aesthetic manner. Seeing metrics to improve over time kept me motivated and focused on my weaker areas.
Beyond the technical content, the quality of instruction truly sets this platform apart. The professors are incredibly passionate, and that energy really comes through in their teaching. Most importantly, the content was strikingly similar to the real exam. Having used other Qbanks, I can confidently say that the level of simulation provided here prepared me in a way that others simply did not. If you are looking for a comprehensive, high-yield resource that truly mirrors the experience of the actual board exam, I cannot recommend Bootcamp enough.
I have really enjoyed my time using Med School Bootcamp so far! It has helped immensely while preparing for my NBME exams throughout my first year of medical school. I think that the videos are great and love that high yield content is denoted as such. It is great to have Bootcamp fully synced with anki, as it allows me to retain and continuously review the content I have learned. I am excited to continue using Bootcamp to help me prepare for STEP 1 in the coming year!!

Concise explanations that offer additional perspective beyond what we get in class. Bootcamp's web interface is excellent and the QBanks make studying easy when I feel like there is too much info coming all at once. Kinda nuts it's only 300$ a year.

The first thing I'll say is that I wish I found Bootcamp sooner! It is fantastic for curriculum supplementation and excellent at adequately preparing you for STEP 1. Not only is the material digestible and well-explained, but the resource is also far more financially accessible than others on the market! I will definitely be using Bootcamp for STEP 2 and couldn't recommend it enough for medical students looking to up their test-prep game. Thank you Bootcamp team!

Bootcamp has been very useful for helping me both in preparing for STEP 1 and my medical school classes in general. The videos help me underlying the high-level concepts relevant to the topic at hand, and the questions following the videos really help reinforce the information for me. The Bootcamp tags in the AnKing deck also save me a tremendous amount of time that I would’ve had to spend sorting through relevant cards to study.

I fully switched to Bootcamp from other third-party resources after the free trial. I like the easy navigations around different topics and also the interaction with the staff here at Bootcamp. The lectures are broken down into small topics that makes it very easy to digest and review. Overall, Bootcamp has exceeded my expectations!
