Studying for the INBDE was made a lot easier with the help of Bootcamp. I started studying using dental decks, but it was just too much and felt disorganized, so I stopped within the week.

When I found Bootcamp, just the look of the site made me excited to study. I started out by going through all the sections of Bootcamp from top to bottom; this took me about a month. I also watched videos at 1.5x speed for the sections I felt I needed more help with. However, while studying, it felt like I wasn’t retaining information and kept getting the questions wrong, but I kept going. This is the key—don’t give up! Stick with it, and you will start to see the results. After going through Bootcamp once, I was still very skeptical, but I stuck with it. I then started creating tests—100-question ones, 50-question ones, 25 questions. I just kept taking the tests over and over again. Regarding how many hours I spent, each day varied, but it was usually around 5-6 hours a day. Seeing the questions repeatedly, the concepts started clicking, and I started feeling confident. I did this for about three weeks before my exam.

So, now it was the night before, and I couldn’t sleep because I was so nervous. I had a total of 3 hours of sleep. I recommend you take the night before to relax and calm your mind so you can have a good night's sleep.

Entering Day 1, I clicked into my exam, and the format was literally just like Bootcamp, so I felt relaxed. I can’t stress enough to take time and read the questions carefully because I have a tendency not to read questions carefully, so I made sure during my exam to take my time. I finished each section with about 45 minutes remaining, so I used that time to check my answers.

I took all my breaks—don’t skip your breaks! Use all your breaks, please. Drink some water, eat a snack, walk around, do something else. The point is to get up away from the screen.

For Day 2, it’s all case studies. I felt so confident this day. I honestly felt like it was easier than Day 1. I would say to get an idea of how Day 2 is, look at the case studies on Bootcamp. The questions basically involve one patient chart and X-ray for the next 3-4 questions. I walked out of Day 2 feeling so good.

Anyways, don’t fret, don’t stress. If you use Bootcamp, you will be fine. Take some time aside to sit down and do the questions on there. They really did an amazing job formatting and having the information you need to pass the exam. Shoutout to Bootcamp! ◡̈

I am an international student, so studying for me was a little bit more of a slow and steady wins the race, just because I felt like I needed to do a little bit more when it came to the material. It was relatively hard for me to find good information on what to expect on test day, and how to be best prepared. I wound up reading and watching a bunch of youtube videos on the exam and came across Mental Dental. After finding Mental Dental videos, I quickly found blogs of people sharing specific study materials and their stories on how they passed the INBDE.

I gave myself around 5 months to study for the exam because I did not know how the process was going to work for me specifically. I started with mental dental videos in August and took about a month to go through them, making sure I made detailed notes for each video. After I finished the videos, I bought the 6 month membership of bootcamp! I mixed in the Tufts Pharm review as well as the Mosby NBDE II exam in the back of the book. I studied every day for anywhere from 3-6 hrs a day and took Sundays off. I personally felt really overwhelmed with the amount of information I was trying to put in my brain so I studied probably longer than I should have. In October I found out about the Anki cards and did those as well, I did about 90% of the cards, but just felt like I was confident with the information by the end of November that i did not really need them anymore. I remember when I started bootcamp I was getting 40s-50s on the practice exams, and it really made me freak out, but I'm here to tell you it's ok! After I went through all of the questions once, I started getting 80s on the practice exams and felt much more confident. The week before my exam I found myself getting anxious and almost angry because I just did not know what else to study but at the same time I felt unprepared. I probably did every question on Bootcamp 2-3 times, and pretty much was able to answer questions very quickly.

I took my exam Dec 19th and 20th, 2022. Day One I felt unprepared going in (again, this is normal). I took all of my breaks and finished feeling very in the middle. I had finished very quickly and I was not sure if that was because I knew the answers or if that was because I was guessing. I had no idea if I felt like I failed or if I passed. My first day was mostly pharm, Ethics, pathology, peds, oral health management, anatomy and a couple of questions on prostho, perio and operative. I didn’t have any ortho questions on my exam. I went home that afternoon and did not study anything. I had a good dinner and went to bed early to rest up for day two. I HIGHLY recommend doing day one and two back to back if it is possible. You aren’t going to learn anything new in between the two days. You either know it or you don’t. Don't psych yourself out.

Day two going in I didn’t have the exam jitters anymore, and knew it would be a quick day, so I was honestly just ready to be done with the exam. I was praying that my second day wouldn’t be all prostho because that was one of my weakest subjects, and i was lucky to only have a couple of questions. I had pretty much all pharm and health management along with pathology again, but just with clinical sets. I took my one break on day two and left feeling relieved that i was finally done with the exam. I felt the same day after day two as i did day one “I have no clue how I did.” I got my results about 3 weeks after my test day in the morning and was so happy to see the passing result.

I can’t thank Bootcamp and Dr. Ryan enough for helping me get through a long and treacherous study process. There were even some questions on my exam that were similar to the ones I had done in Bootcamp. I appreciate the layout and how easy it is to stay organized on the website! As long as you take advantage of all the materials out there and make sure you know the content well, it is totally a feasible exam! It is a long and grueling process but so worth it in the end!

I am proud to say I passed the INBDE in my first attempt just by using Bootcamp. It is a timesaver, perfect, and is the only resource needed for INBDE (no need to use other sources). Bootcamp is so enjoyable and extraordinary it is organized and in order that you don't even need to think what you should study!

The amount of material is right and you have enough time to review the whole Bootcamp and finish it by following the schedule. INBDE Bootcamp gives you confidence, makes you feel ready, comfortable, and prepared before exam. I finished using INBDE Bootcamp before the exam and felt prepared.

I took NBDE part II a few months ago and got 71 and was so scared to take INBDE but with Bootcamp it became so easy.

The creators of Bootcamp have master minds and they are geniuses, Thanks to Dr. Ryan for his awesome videos that I have been using from a year ago. Thanks to Dr. Ari and Dr. Joel for putting every thing together. Study Schedule and Test Day Experience

I studied almost the material (1~10, 13) from the above list for the first round (including Bootcamp free sample of course), and watched Mental Dental 2 times. Then, I saved the last month before the exam for the Bootcamp only. I upgraded the membership and finished all questions in Bootcamp.
Just three days before the test day, I gave all Bootcamp questions a quick review (2500 more questions).

—>Then, I was so surprised that there are so many questions in Bootcamp similar to my INBDE exam.

Other experiences to share:

1. The information provided in the INBDE exam is less detailed than Bootcamp questions and the quality of the photo and radiograph are not as clear as Bootcamp, so we have to adjust to it quickly and choose the best answer.

2. Don’t memory dump too quickly before the exam starts (not during the 15 minutes tutorial session).
In the video, Dr. Ryan shared that we could dump the memory on the sheet the test center provided, but it is not allowed at the test center where I took the exam, so my sheet was taken away and given a new one. I was a little bit worried at that time but I still passed the exam.

About the Bootcamp question bank: there are two similar questions about anesthesia techniques for children, but with different answers. The explanation for the questions did not seem deliberate very clear why to choose this answer. This kind of question does appear in the INBDE exam.

Final Thoughts

As I browsed through other students' stories, I noticed that we went through some similar experiences.

I recall having ample time to review my answers thanks to the comprehensive training received from Bootcamp. I meticulously went through each section, completing all the questions and re-checking those that I had marked and finally checking every questions again. My husband, who passed all three steps of USMLE, was curious and asked why I was taking so much time to review my answers. I simply replied, "Because I have Bootcamp!" I think he wishes he had Bootcamp for USMLE as well.

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Bootcamp and MentalDental. As an international dentist moving to the USA with two young children, preparing for the INBDE exam was a challenging and stressful journey. However, Bootcamp made it possible!

For future students taking the INBDE, my advice would be to focus on Bootcamp/Dental Mental if you want to save time and pass the exam quickly.

While studying for INBDE I had a bit going on, I was at school and also at my part-time job as a dental assistant. So time was tight.

I studied for a total of 4 months, 2 effective 0 distraction hours a day from Monday through Friday and 8 to 10 hours Saturdays and Sundays.

During the week I'd watch Mental Dental videos and do the questions on each video on bootcamp I'd pick one hard topic (like Pharm) and an easier one (like Endodontics) so I could switch between those two to avoid getting to tired of one. On the weekends I would do the videos again make notes and go through the respective bootcamp questions and quizzes to reinforce the information learned and evaluate my progress.

I was able to complete all Mental Dental videos in the first 3 months.

On the 4th month I only focused on Bootcamp and answering as many questions as possible. I almost never felt the need for additional info since all the feedback given by Bootcamp on every question is clear, easy to understand and very straightforward.

The weekend prior to the test I did the Mock exam which helped me a lot. I did the times and breaks just like I would on the test. It help me to evaluate and polish some weaker areas of my studying, it also helped me to check time and endurance.

Prepping for the INBDE

Two days prior to the test I ate well, drank a lot of water I exercised I relaxed and slept.

Day 1

That day I didn't drink that much water cause breaks are only 15 minutes. I had fruit and protein for breakfast but nothing to heavy. I brought some a Coke and some protein bars.

They way the questions are structured and the patient boxes are basically identical to the test, so you feel acquainted and comfortable when going through INBDE.

The questions are so similar in complexity if anything I found some of bootcamps harder which I appreciate, cause it gives you some extra confidence and security during the test.

The first 2 sections went smoothly when I got to the 3rd I was tired and wanted to be done so on the next break I snacked on what I had and the 4th went lighter.

Day 2

I had it the very next day, I was exhausted after the 1st section. I found it to be just like I mentioned before very similar if not slightly easier than the cases on Bootcamp, Overall I left feeling good.

I am a foreign-trained dentist who graduated from, BAU, a great school in Lebanon. I operated my dental clinic for six years before moving to the US to marry the love of my life. I started looking into programs several months before moving, as you know, there are a lot of them out there, and because I have been away from the academic side of Dentistry for some time, it was integral to choose the best program.

I stumbled upon Dr. Ryan’s channel (Mental Dental) on Youtube and it transformed the way I looked at the test. Through the channel I found BOOTCAMP. Then suddenly, what I thought was a truly rigorous and extremely hard task to accomplish, looked simple and easy. 

To sum it up, Bootcamp has everything a dentist needs to ace the INBDE. They make the process enjoyable and stop you from over thinking your study plan. All that is required is you be disciplined and committed to achieving that PASS.

NOW, a breakdown of the study plan I followed:

I gave myself 60 days to study.

I cannot STRESS this enough, create your schedule and set up achievable mini-goals. This way you will always be motivated and keep yourself going through this long process. 

Personally, I followed Dr. Ari’s schedule to the best of my abilities. I think it is a great benchmark and standard to have. I studied every day for about 4-6 hours, and this included Mental Dental videos (played at 1.5x speed) as well as going through the question bank and marking questions as I go.

After 40 days, I had gone through all of the questions and felt confident but still a little bit wary. Therefore, I spent the rest of the remaining 20 days just reviewing and cementing the info.

Exam Days Breakdown:

Day 1: 

What a day that was! 

First of all, you have to sleep as early as you can the previous night because this day is long. Make sure you wake up refreshed and well-rested before starting this trek. Have a nutritious breakfast, and take with you some fruits and water because they will come in handy during your breaks. 

This leads to my second point, USE ALL YOUR BREAKS. Don’t try and combine two sets of questions together because it will drain you. 

Now, regarding the questions, read them carefully, most of the time you will know the answer or have a good idea of what it might be even before going through the choices. So do not allow a fancy word in the question to fluster you, just stick to what you know. I finished most of the sets with about 45 minutes left on the clock so I had ample time to review, but if you don’t, at least make sure you review the questions you had marked. A good strategy I used was to strike out the choices that I knew 100% were false, so when I review those marked questions I would only be debating between the ones I did not strike out. 

Day 2:

This day is a less stressful one, and because of my fair clinical background, I found it to be easier than day 1. 

The questions you will see on this day are straightforward and on many occasions, you can find the answers in the attached images, charts, or X-rays. The way I went through them is, first I looked at the attachments in order to have an overall idea, and then I read the questions and choices. 

Also the same as before, Review Review Review, especially when you finish the last set and you just want to go home and relax. DO NOT GET COMPLACENT.

Finally, just do your best and remember that you have had the capacity the go through dental school and succeed, so with hard work and determination you will be able to pass this exam and achieve what you are capable of.

As a father of three young kids with a wife who works, dental school has been a balancing act. The INDBE was no different. The first thing I needed to do was trust that my hard work over the last four years gave me an excellent foundation for this exam. I guess my school was an integral part of that foundation too. But to draw everything together, I knew I needed a solid prep program. Bootcamp was the easy choice for me.

I began to study in the end of August my senior year with plans to sit the exam in November. I set my date and purchased the three month plan from Bootcamp. This would hopefully give me the motivation I needed to get started. However, I am a procrastinator. I dipped my toe in the water by watching a few videos and looking over the study schedules. I naturally gravitated towards the questions and only the questions. The feedback from each question was great. The marking system was very helpful as well. We have clinic from about 7-5pm during the week. After getting my kids to bed, I would do as many questions as I could before bed. I build up endurance and was able to do more and more questions each day. By the end, I would do 100 questions without breaking a sweat. I used the marking system to triage the questions into two piles; those I knew and those I didn’t. I would try to keep my “red” questions low and made it a priority to keep reviewing the ones I missed. I loved how I could use the app seamlessly between laptop and phone. Volume and repetition are key, at least for me.

Day One: My test days were back-to-back. The first day, I cruised through the sections like crazy. No breaks, no stops. This was my endurance carrying me along. The interface at the testing center was very similar to that of Bootcamp. I had some trouble with the image quality (photos and radiographs) on test day but nothing major. I was done by lunchtime on day one.

Day Two: The next day was about the same. I slowed down a little bit and took more time to familiarize myself with each case. Overall I left feeling pretty good and definitely glad it was over.

Naturally, doubt set I as I awaited my results. Questions like “did I study enough?” and “should I have sped through the test like that?” plagued my thoughts for about a month. The stress was washed away when I saw that I passed. The INDBE is not an easy exam but Bootcamp helped my to conquer it.

I am a foreign-trained dentist with four years of clinical experience who moved to the US from India. After being a stay-at-home mom for 3 years I finally decided to prepare for INBDE in order to make my way back to dentistry.

I'd been out of touch so I decided to give myself 3 months to prepare for the exam. The first month I only watched Mental Dental videos and took notes to build momentum. Along with that I used Anki cards to retain everything.

The second month I spent doing practice questions from the dental mastery app which in my opinion are difficult compared to the questions on the actual exam. It also left me confused with a lot of questions.

Then I bought a Bootcamp.com subscription and that is all I did for the last month. The questions in Bootcamp are very similar to ones that appear in the actual exam. Also, there are so many pictures, charts, and diagrams to look at with the questions which is a huge plus.

If I ever had any doubts regarding any question, I would just message them and they would reply the same day which is super helpful.

Overall Bootcamp really prepared me well for the actual exam. This was my first attempt at INBDE, and it is all thanks to Bootcamp that I passed in my first attempt!

How I Used Everything:

Month #1: Preliminary Exposure

Dr. Ryan’s resource of Mental Dental was the resource synonymous to Course Saver: Chad Videos for the DAT. He has great videos that cover all subjects and topics to the extent the board exam expects students to be familiar with. I started all the Mental Dental videos in March and took notes and completed all of the lectures. Each video has a subsequent questions video, I made sure to do them all as I would finish each video! Make sure to complete those because many were similar to Bootcamp and actual board questions.

During this time, I also used the Mosby Boards (synonymous to Cliff's AP Bio for DAT prep) book to brush up over topics and terminologies as well as Tufts Pharmacology. I did not read the entire book, but I did make sure to read over the more challenging topics and things I know I needed a decent refresher on. Tufts was a great resource because Pharmacology is a very commonly tested topic on the exam. Tufts has an immense amount of questions which helped solidify the material from Mental Dental. They have conceptual, mechanistic, and calculation questions! I didn’t do them all but the ones I did were absolutely helpful!

Month #2: PRACTICE

Initially I used Dental Mastery because that’s just what all the upperclassmen who graduated in 2021 mentioned using. Now, if you studied for the DAT, you’ve probably heard about the DAT Destroyer. Dental Mastery is synonymous to the DAT Destroyer. Many say the DAT Destroyer is overkill and Mastery is kind of similar. Me being Tehaum, because I know what works for me and what doesn’t, I knew I needed to push myself and see all there was I could potentially be thrown at on the exam. While I studied with Mastery, I came across topics that I had never heard of before in school and came across topics that weren’t mentioned in Mental Dental. I kept going and marking questions that I wasn’t sure of and made a notes sheet with random facts, link in the description of my video. My goal was to do exactly 100 mastery questions a day and about 50 bootcamp questions a day. Once I got through about 2,200 mastery questions I was just burnt out and stopped, and solely focused on Bootcamp.

Every time I finished the days worth of questions, I’d revisit my notes on those topics and I would review about 2 full Mental Dental lectures to completion every single day. I wanted to make sure I could remember the material so throughout the day I’d always manage my time wisely. The moment I found out I had a patient cancellation, I went straight to the library. Time management is super tough especially if you are at a school like mine that doesn’t allow dedicated time off to study.

Conveniently for me, by March-April, INBDE Bootcamp released a solid amount of questions which were actually really really good questions. My goal for Bootcamp changed to 100 a day. I would go over all the questions and mark the ones that were more challenging so that I could re-visit them later. My ultimate goal was to finish all of the provided questions at least 5-7 days prior to my exam day. I decided to do this so that I could re-visit all of those marked questions weeks later to prove to myself if I knew the material or not.

My Final Thoughts and Advice

INBDE Bootcamp has a 10 question a day warm up generator to get a feel for how this amazing resource is laid out. Not only that, but you can then see all the questions you marked again at a glance. Bootcamp is the best resource out there in my honest opinion. The questions are clearly laid out, have amazing pictures and diagrams, and are representative to the style of questions on the actual board. I got some similar questions on my actual board that I saw on Bootcamp.

Do not go into overdrive the week before. If you followed the schedule I shared (link in video description) or any other schedule, you would have gone over more than 3000 practice questions which is a lot to get a gauge of what type of material you need to hone your studying in on mostly. Last few days before your exam just keep reviewing your lectures, notes, and marked questions.

Mark your questions that you know you got down for sure and the ones you aren't so good at yet PROPERLY! To save yourself time and to efficiently focus on things that require more time to study, make sure to take a few seconds to think. Did I get that question right off of guessing or actual understanding of the concepts? If you guessed you might wanna mark it as yellow just to be safe to make sure if you really know it once you eventually visit back to it again.

On exam day, you will have multiple sections that you have to do with breaks in between each of them. Now once you finish a section, you can’t go back to a completed section. However, during your breaks, you are allowed to go to your lockers and review any and all study materials. This was really clutch because as I finished each section, I made sure to quickly revise certain topics b/c odds are you might get repeated questions on different sections that you had before. So if you know you didn’t answer correctly the first time, you need to use your breaks wisely to get them right the second time.

Now even though you can’t revisit sections, you have 2 laminated notes sheets. You can use your notes from prior sections on new sections, so take that for what it’s worth.

Hello everyone! My name is Solomon Elias, I’m from Houston, Texas and I am a third year at Tufts Dental. Thanks to Bootcamp, I was able to pass my INBDE on the first try!

As a third year, it may seem daunting to find time to study while you’re trying to navigate through all the challenges that dental school brings. I found that starting my studies early really made all the difference and helped alleviate a lot of stress that is associated with this exam. 

Solomon's Schedule

Personally, I set aside 2 months prior to my exam date in order to tackle the subjects more gradually, and to allow myself an opportunity to keep up with my dental school responsibilities. For the first month, I devoted my time to the Mental Dental videos, watching at least 2-3 videos a night (during the school week) and up to 10-12 (on weekends). After I would finish a video series, I would try to reference my notes, if I had some free time in between classes/patients, which helped important topics stick in my head. In the month leading up to my exam, I really beared down and tried to absorb as much information from Dr. Ryan’s study slides as possible. I coupled that with the question sets that Bootcamp offered, and found that I learned a lot more information from reading the answer explanations, even if I got the given questions right.

Of course, I challenged myself to also keep up my Bootcamp daily warmup streak, and it helped motivate me to utilize the site even more. Towards the last 2 weeks, I tried to answer up to 450-500 questions a day to help build my testing stamina. While day 1 of the exam is only 360 questions, I wanted to make sure that I built my ‘test-taking endurance’. With the week leading up to the exam, I focused on questions that I flagged to really ensure that I had that information locked down. 

Thoughts After the INBDE

As far as the testing experience goes, I really did feel prepared after going through Bootcamp in its entirety. While it is a long and stressful experience, it was very reassuring to see many similar questions, and even cases on the INBDE that I had seen on Bootcamp.

Bootcamp was worth the investment for me, and a lot of my classmates have also found success using the site. The journey of passing the boards was not easy, but it is very manageable and Bootcamp gives you the tools to succeed!

Colin was able to pass the INBDE by studying for only four weeks! Here's how he did it:

Weekly Breakdown

While studying for the INDBE I took 4 weeks off of school (I had a 2-weeks xmas break and took 2 weeks off before for thanksgiving break). I am the type of person who has to sit down and that will be my ONLY focus, with no distractions. I can’t multi task and I am a one thing at a time type of person. All I did 6 days a week for 8 hours a day, for 4 weeks was study for this INDBE. 

I prepared the first 2 weeks by watching all of Mental Dental videos. First time I just sat there and listened. Second time through I went along with his word docs and made my own personal notes.

The 3rd week I spent reviewing all of these word docs, going over each one and reading them out loud at least twice per word doc, some a little more (like pharm, oral path, ethics, oral medicine) and some a little less (endo, perio, patient management). I then headed into Bootcamp’s qbanks, tagging questions as I went. 

The 4th and final week I finished Bootcamp’s qbanks, and I spent reviewing notes and all the Bootcamp questions I tagged twice. 

During the Exam

The day before my exam I slept in and relaxed, only focused on writing down and memorizing my cheat sheet for test day. While comparing my studying journey to test day, I did so much overkill that the exam itself was a walk in the park. Bootcamp was so realistic to the actual exam I finished every section with over an hour to spare, I had plenty of time with every question. 

Breakdown of Day 1

This was all of your heavy lifting. I used every 15-30 min break I got. I was constantly eating or drinking between these breaks to keep my brain fueled. My 15 minute tutorial I used for my brain dump, and wrote down everything I had in my brain onto the paper for my “cheat sheet.” Because I did so much overkill with Mental Dental and Bootcamp the only thing I had to do for test day was remain calm, keep my head focused and clear, and to take deep breaths and remind myself to read the words, pause, and think. 

The way I handled each question went as follows: I read the question, and read the answer choices. Then I went over into the patient box / pictures if they were available and found my answer. A lot of the time I knew the answer before even looking at the answer choices because Bootcamp trained me so well. I only selected the answer if I knew that was the answer. If I was at a 50/50 I would cross out what I believe were the wrong answers, mark the question, and came back to it at the end. If I had no idea what the answer was, I would mark the question and take my time and give it my best shot. 

When I came home that day I felt like I got hit by a semi truck I was so mentally exhausted. I took my dog for a long walk, got some Chipotle, and went to bed early. I didn’t study that day. The next day after a long night's rest I only reviewed what I had bookmarked on Bootcamp questions on what I believed to be high yield. Then I practiced writing out my cheat sheet again, got lots of sleep.

Breakdown of Day 2

The second day was exhausting but I brought plenty of caffeine and dark chocolate to keep me going. I utilized every break that was given to me. I used the tutorial to brain dump my cheat sheet. Bootcamp prepared me SO WELL for the “Item sets / case sets” that the 2nd day was a WALK IN THE PARK. I hit the submit and knew I had passed. I went on a carnival cruise right after to celebrate and came back to find out I had passed. THANK YOU BOOTCAMP AND MENTAL DENTAL.  

Meet Marijan, a happy Bootcamp customer who recently conquered the INBDE. I've asked Marijan to share her INBDE experience with us as the Featured Student of September.

1. What is your background as a dental student?

I got my dentist degree at the Central University of Venezuela back in 2015. I moved to the US, and after working as a dental assistant for a couple of years, I decided to start studying for the INBDE. I found out about INBDE Bootcamp thanks to a video posted on the Mental Dental YouTube channel; those videos had been so helpful for me that I didn't hesitate to get Bootcamp.

2. How did you use INBDE Bootcamp to study for the INBDE?

I had my test scheduled 3 weeks away from the day I got INBDE Bootcamp. I can certainly say it helped me pass my test on my first attempt; the way every answer is explained in such detail made me understand things more in depth. Bootcamp is more up to date than the other study tools I used and the questions are very similar to the ones you will find on the INBDE.

3. What is one piece of advice would you give to someone else studying for the INBDE?

My advice to someone who's studying for the INBDE is to use at least two study tools (one of them being the INBDE Bootcamp, of course!) and the use of mnemonics in my experience was very helpful.

1. What's one piece of advice you'd give another student preparing for the INBDE?

The best piece advice I could give a fellow student is to start studying early. Reviewing for an hour a night for several months is so much less stressful than trying to do three or four hours after long days in clinic or lecture.

2. How did INBDE Bootcamp help you to prepare for the test?

INDBE Bootcamp was a useful study tool for me because of the feedback I could get on difficult questions. If there was an answer choice that confused me or a question that wasn’t clear, I would contact the Bootcamp team through the platform and get an extremely thorough response within 24 hours. The individual feedback was extremely helpful on the tricky questions. No other study tool that I used while preparing for the exam offered a service like this.

3. Is there anything different you'd do if you had to prepare for the test again?

I honestly wouldn’t change anything about how I prepared for the exam if I could. I never felt stressed because I gave myself over 5 months to study and I had organized study tools like INDBE Bootcamp and Mental Dental YouTube videos. Knowing Bootcamp and Mental Dental had covered all the subjects that could be on the exam allowed me to methodically go through all the materials and at the end know I had prepared enough for the exam.
